Hello, hello! I'm terribly sorry for the radio silence over here.

For the past three months, I've been keeping a secret from you.

But it's time to let the cat out of the bag.

For the last 11 years, I’ve been developing my own recipes and publishing them on Sweetest Menu. And YOU have been making them.

But there is one thing you have asked me for. Again. And again. And again.
And it’s finally happening.

I’m writing a cookbook.

One more time for those in the back.

I'M WRITING A COOKBOOK!

It's taken over a decade to get here but it's real and it's happening and I'm so excited to bring you along the journey.

But now I have something to ask you.

You've been asking me for a book but now I need you to tell me what recipes you want included in it!

It's going to be a mix of new recipes and reader favourites.

So if you have made and loved a Sweetest Menu recipe and want it included in the book, now's the time to tell me!

Please reply to this email and let me know what your favourite SM recipe is! The most popular ones will make it in the book.

In the coming weeks, I'll be sharing more about this wild process, including what's been happening behind-the-scenes so far.

I'm knee-deep in the recipe testing process, which means I'm eating cake everyday, I need a recurring subscription for butter, sugar and flour and I'm absolutely exhausted and exhilarated 99% of the time.

I hope this explains the lack of new recipes being published on the blog.

The deadline for my manuscript is fast approaching so once that's done, I'll be back to share some new recipes with you.

I've been loving seeing you all still enjoying some SM gems. There's been a lot of love for my Tall Scones (they've got to go in the book right?), my simple Passionfruit Cake and these chunky CCC's.

Finally, when the book comes out, please buy it! ❤️ Yes I'm going to be that annoying person now.
