Last week, after making 70 chocolate brownies, 51 honey joy slices and 52 lemon blueberry cookies, I headed off to my first ever book launch at Readings, Chadstone.

Emelia Jackson and I had a wonderful time talking about baking and writing my first cookbook Something Sweet. And then I had the absolute privilege of signing your books for you.

I was completely blown away but how many people attended (thank you, thank you) and I absolutely loved meeting you all! It was such a special might and the perfect way to celebrate my debut cookbook.

Back in the kitchen, I'm working on some new recipes for you all - stay tuned. But I've also been enjoying old classics.

Yesterday, I made my a batch of my Cinnamon Rolls (gosh I had forgotten how good they were) and my kids made my Brownies Cookies. Both of these recipes are so popular, I tucked them into my new cookbook.

Tonight, I'm making my Easy Apple Crumble for some friends who are coming over for a quick dinner. And since winter has landed in Melbourne, I've got my eye on my Sticky Date Puddings next!
